Proceeds from the sale of the tickets will benefit Pattison’sAcademy for Comprehensive Education (PACE).PACE will open as a charter school through the Charleston County School District in the Fall of 2010.PACE will be the only school in the tricounty area whose target population is children with severe and multiple disabilities. Attending this concert is a way to impact a child’s life, a family’s well being, a student’s education and in the long run invest in your community’s standard of living.
Children with severe physical and cognitive disabilities face huge obstacles. Although many have remarkable potential for healthy growth, learning and joy, our community doesn’t offer them much help to develop it.
Pattison’s Academy is a 501(c)(3) organizations (EIN 20-3419262). Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children with multiple disabilities by providing comprehensive education and rehabilitation programs.
Our mission will be accomplished through two initiatives: a summer camp that began in 2006 and a Pattison's Academy for Comprehensive Education (PACE), a charter school to address educational and medical rehabilitation goals that will open in the fall of 2010
